Founded in 1880, James Candy Company is the manufacturer and retailer of three famous nostalgic candy brands: James’ Confections, Fralinger’s Salt Water Taffy and Bayard’s Chocolates. Known as the originators of Salt Water Taffy and artisans of homemade chocolates, James Candy Company takes great pride in continuing the traditions of these brand’s creators and their original recipes. The first people to live on the land now known as New Jersey were the Delaware Indians. They lived here starting at least 10,000 years ago.
